Laser Hair Removal in Scottsdale and Mesa AZ
What Is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a hair reduction method, just like shaving or waxing but laser is typically for people looking for a more permanent hair reduction solution. Laser hair removal is one of the most common cosmetic laser procedures. In general, devices for hair removal beam highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light which then destroys the hair.
Which lasers do you use?
We use the Motus AX which is the first, high-speed Alexandrite laser that makes it possible for even darker skin types to benefit from the effectiveness of this laser type. This breakthrough is possible because of Moveo technology – a handpiece that delivers fast, more efficient energy to destroy the hair in a way that is painless and free from Side-effects.
MOTUS AX IS EFFECTIVE FOR:
- HAIR REMOVAL
- PIGMENTED LESIONS
- SUPERFICIAL VASCULAR LESIONS
Will my treatment hurt?
PAINLESS laser hair removal treatment available to all skin types, we can liberate you from unwanted hair. One of the major benefits of our laser the Motus AX, is that the Moveo technology eliminates the discomfort of typical laser hair removal.
How long will my treatment take?
Treatment length will vary depending on the area being treated. The Motus AX is relatively fast and but everybody is different. It can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours depending on the treatment area.
How does laser hair removal work?
Unlike other methods of hair removal, it relies on a concentrated beam of energy (via a laser) to target the hair follicle below the surface of the skin. The energy from the laser is released as intense heat, which damages these follicles.

Is Laser Hair Removal Right For Me?
One of the breakthrough benefits of the Motus AX is that it is safe and effective for light to dark skin types. Whether you have fine, light hair or a darker skin tone, the Motus AX can be used to target and permanently reduce unwanted hair. The Motus AX may also be used with tanned skin however, it is always recommended that you talk with our physician about your specific skin conditions before treatment.
When Will I See Results?
After treatment it can take several weeks for the hair in the treated area to “fall out” (push up and out of the follicle). Clients may see it as soon as 7-10 days after treatment. Typically you will see results after the first initial treatment but multiple treatments are recommended to see and hold significant results. Subsequent treatment sessions should be 6-8 weeks apart if done to the face and 8 to 12 weeks if done to the body.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects include scabs or crusts, or burns. If you experience these do not pick, rub or scratch these areas. Doing so can result in infection, permanent pigment changes in your skin or even scarring. Gently cleanse the area and apply hydrocortisone cream several times a day for one week. If the area is open, also apply a layer of antibiotic ointment over hydrocortisone cream. Please contact us immediately if you experience any burns. Small red bumps around the hair follicle are common and even expected. Do not pick, rub or scratch these until they have cleared. Your skin overall may be sensitive for several days following your laser hair removal treatment.
